Product Engineer
Cerbera is building the security layer for the agent era. We give security and engineering teams one control plane for every AI model, MCP server, browser, and coding agent in their company. As a Product Engineer, you will turn that mission into a product people actually want to use.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who thinks in flows and outcomes, not just tickets. You will own features end to end, from the first sketch to the production rollout, and you will spend as much time talking to users as you do writing code.
We are a small, senior team. You will have real scope from day one and your work will ship to companies securing autonomous AI in production.
[What you will do]
- Own features end to end across the stack, from design and implementation to rollout and iteration
- Build interfaces that make complex AI security workflows feel simple, fast, and trustworthy
- Work directly with users to understand how they discover, secure, and govern AI usage, then turn that into product
- Ship quickly and safely, balancing speed with the reliability our customers depend on
- Shape the product roadmap with the founding team, bringing strong opinions about what to build next
- Raise the engineering bar through clean code, thoughtful reviews, and pragmatic architecture
[What we are looking for]
- 4+ years building production web applications, with deep knowledge of TypeScript and a modern framework like React or Next.js
- A product mindset: you care about the user outcome, not just the implementation
- Ability to move fast across the stack and own ambiguous problems without hand-holding
- Strong eye for detail and a high bar for the experiences you ship
- Excellent communication and a low-ego, collaborative approach to building
[Nice to have]
- Experience with security, developer tools, or infrastructure products
- Familiarity with AI tooling, LLM APIs, MCP, or agentic workflows
- Early-stage startup experience where you owned significant surface area
- Backend or systems experience to complement product work
